NHTSA recall 24E-067 (filed Aug 22 2024; remedy released earlier): older Cruise ADS software could unexpectedly hard-brake when a cyclist/vehicle approached from the rear; NHTSA's ODI (opened Dec 2022) tied 10 crashes / 4 injuries to hard-braking reports. Remedied via OTA; closed the hard-braking ODI.
