Delta Electronics recalls 2,600 Eltek solar inverters due to fire and impact hazards

Delta Electronics USA recalled approximately 2,600 Eltek THEIA HE-t string inverters because capacitors could fail, allowing heat buildup and causing the cover to eject with force. Delta received 11 reports of capacitor failure including two reports of covers forcibly ejecting. No injuries reported. Inverters sold March 2012 through May 2017 for $2,000-$4,000. Free replacement program offered.
