Unitree G1 humanoid robot kicked an engineer in the groin during motion-capture training test in China
A Unitree G1 humanoid robot, controlled via a neural-network-based motion capture suit by an engineer in a Chinese office, accidentally kicked the operator in the groin during a kickboxing-style movement test. The incident was captured on video and went viral on Bilibili and X. The robot mirrored the operator's own kickboxing movements with a slight delay, striking the operator.
