JAL x GMO AI Robotics Unitree humanoid airport deployment

Japan Airlines partnered with GMO AI and Robotics to deploy two Unitree Robotics-based humanoid platforms at Haneda Airport starting May 2026. Robots at approximately 15400 USD per unit tasked with baggage loading container transport and aircraft cabin cleaning. Humanoid form factor chosen because airports were built for people not wheeled machines.
