Rack Centre is a carrier- and cloud-neutral colocation operator headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, and one of the largest independent datacenter platforms in West Africa. The company runs a single Lagos campus split across two facilities: the original LGS-1 site, operational since 2013 with a claimed 100% uptime record, and the newer LGS-2 hyperscale expansion designed for 12 MW of IT load across six 2 MW data halls at up to 70 kW per rack. Combined campus capacity is 13.5 MW of IT power across roughly 7,200 square meters of technical space.

The platform is majority-owned by London-based emerging-markets investor Actis, which acquired a controlling stake in 2021 from Jagal Group and rolled the asset into its long-life infrastructure vehicle; Actis has since positioned Rack Centre as the anchor of a broader West African data-center build-out. Rack Centre houses the West Africa node of the AF-CIX internet exchange and Nigeria's IXPN, and its declared connectivity partners include MTN, Airtel, Orange, WIOCC, and Edge-facing carriers, giving it standing as the region's densest peering venue.

Leadership is led by CEO Lars Johannisson, who succeeded long-time managing director Ayotunde Coker (Coker left in 2021 to run Actis-backed Open Access Data Centres). The current executive bench includes an Operations Director, Finance Director, and Chief Commercial Officer, all based at the Lagos campus.
