Tektronix voluntary recall of THS3014 and THS3024 handheld oscilloscopes for firmware decimal point bug
Tektronix issued a voluntary recall of all THS3014 and THS3024 handheld oscilloscopes shipped with Firmware v1.0. A firmware bug could display the decimal point of measurement values in the wrong position, potentially indicating an unsafe voltage as a much lower safe voltage. This posed a risk of serious injury or death. The fix was a firmware update.
