Zoox recalls all 105 robotaxis (NHTSA 26E044) after robotaxi drove into heavy smoke at an active fire scene

Zoox issued a voluntary software recall covering all 105 of its driverless robotaxis after an unoccupied Zoox vehicle entered an active emergency fire scene obscured by heavy smoke on June 20, 2026.
