Fincantieri and Generative Bionics launched a four-year industrial partnership to develop a humanoid welding robot for shipyards. The humanoid will support welding activities at Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente shipyard, with initial on-site tests scheduled by end of 2026 and operational deployment within two years.
