Overview
Atomos Space was a US space logistics company developing reusable, space-resident orbital transfer vehicles (OTVs) — essentially space 'tugboats' — to reposition, refuel, and extend the life of satellites. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Broomfield, CO, Atomos designed the Quark OTV and demonstrated rendezvous, docking, and in-space refueling on its inaugural mission. The company was acquired by Katalyst space technologies in March 2025.
