Overview
China's first and largest quantum computing company, building a vertically integrated superconducting quantum computing platform spanning quantum processor chips, dilution refrigerators, control electronics, the Origin Pilot operating system, QPanda programming framework, and cloud delivery. Spun out of the University of Science and Technology of China in 2017 by Professor Guo Guoping and Academician Guo Guangcan.
Its flagship system, Origin Wukong, is a 72-qubit superconducting quantum computer launched in January 2024 that has attracted over 30 million cloud visits from 145+ countries. The company was added to the US Entity List in May 2024 and initiated IPO counseling targeting the Shanghai STAR Market in 2025.
