Sify Technologies is India's oldest listed digital-infrastructure company, founded in 1995 as Satyam Infoway and taken public on Nasdaq in 1999 (ticker: SIFY), the first Indian internet company to list on a U.S. exchange. Headquartered in Chennai, it operates across three linked businesses: enterprise network and cloud services, systems integration, and a growing colocation and hyperscale data-center portfolio run through its subsidiary Sify Infinit Spaces.

The data-center arm has become the group's strategic center of gravity. Sify runs 16 operational facilities across Mumbai, Chennai, Noida, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata, with roughly 86 MW live capacity and a build-out plan that takes total design capacity above 260 MW as nine additional hyperscale and edge sites (including Nagpur and a second Kolkata campus) come online. It positions itself as India's first NVIDIA DGX-Ready certified colocation provider, with racks engineered for liquid-cooled 130 kW densities.

Ownership sits between Nasdaq public float and a large minority stake in the DC subsidiary held by Kotak Data Center Fund, which anchored a roughly USD 250 million capital raise into Sify Infinit Spaces in 2022 to fund the hyperscale expansion. The Raju family (through Ramanand Core Investment Company) remains the controlling shareholder of the listed parent.
