Overview
AdaniConneX is a 50:50 joint venture between India's Adani Enterprises and the U.S. hyperscale developer EdgeConneX, formed in February 2021 to build a nationwide data centre platform in India. The company operates a distributed footprint across the country's major digital hubs (Chennai, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Noida, Pune, and Visakhapatnam) and markets itself as India's first hyperscale-focused operator built around the Adani Group's captive renewable power and land bank.
The platform has crossed roughly one gigawatt of capacity deployed or under construction and has publicly committed to a three gigawatt build-out by 2031, positioning it as one of the largest data centre pipelines in India alongside CtrlS, NTT, and Yotta. The company signed one of India's largest data centre financing deals to date: a USD 1.44 billion sustainability-linked construction facility with a syndicate of international lenders in April 2024, following an earlier USD 213 million facility in 2023.
AdaniConneX's most consequential customer relationship to date is Google, with which the Adani Group announced in October 2025 the development of what it describes as India's largest data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, anchoring Google's Indian cloud region expansion.
