The region's center of gravity shifted decisively to Malaysia in late 2025, when Vantage closed the acquisition of Yondr Group's ~300 MW hyperscale campus in Johor, giving it more Malaysian capacity (Cyberjaya I and II plus Johor) than in any other APAC country. The deal was capped by a $1.6 billion equity injection into the APAC platform from Singapore's GIC and Abu Dhabi's ADIA, alongside majority owner DigitalBridge and co-investor Silver Lake.

Vantage APAC sells to hyperscale cloud and AI customers on a build-to-suit and rack-ready basis, with the Johor and Cyberjaya campuses positioned as anchor sites for regional AI-training workloads. The parent company was founded in 2010 and remains privately held under DigitalBridge and Silver Lake.
