Overview
The JASPER Platform (formerly ORYOM) is the world's first robotic surgery platform for cataract and widespread ocular diseases. It combines a 14-degree-of-freedom microsurgical robotic hand, 3D image guidance with segmentation, and AI-based data analytics to replicate and enhance conventional cataract surgery workflow. In April 2026, it performed the first fully robot-assisted cataract surgery in a human patient without general anesthesia.
