Robot vacuums

Autonomous robot vacuums and mop combos: SLAM, LiDAR, and camera-guided home-cleaning platforms.

Robot vacuums on DEPLOY span the full commercial range: LiDAR-primary SLAM platforms (Roborock Saros 20, Ecovacs Deebot X series, Dreame X40), camera-only vision navigation (Shark PowerDetect, Ultenic), and lower-cost gyroscope-guided units (Laresar, Yeedi entry models). The load-bearing verified-vs-claimed axis is navigation capability: makers routinely over-claim obstacle-avoidance precision, self-empty station reliability, and mopping performance. DEPLOY treats stated suction-power specs (Pa ratings) as manufacturer claims, not independent verification. Corporate structure is load-bearing here: iRobot is now owned by Picea (Amazon deal terminated January 2024); Neato Robotics filed for liquidation in 2023 (D-series models discontinued, a category-attrition anchor). Gausium Vacuum 40 and Keenon DINERBOT-class platforms blur the consumer/commercial boundary and carry the commercial service form_factor boundary note.
