Sunday is a Mountain View-based AI robotics startup building Memo, an autonomous wheeled humanoid home robot. Founded in 2023 by Stanford PhDs Tony Zhao and Cheng Chi, the company emerged from stealth in November 2025 with 5M in seed funding from Benchmark and Conviction, and subsequently raised a 65M Series B at a .15B valuation in March 2026.
Memo is designed to learn household tasks autonomously using Sunday's ACT-1 Foundation model, trained on zero robot data. A Founding Family Beta of 50 households is planned for late 2026.
