2019 Arizona campuses announcement (primary city)

On Jul 30, 2019 the City of Goodyear republished Microsoft's announcement that Arizona would host three new datacenter campuses (El Mirage and Goodyear) intended to run on 100% renewable energy, with a First Solar Sun Streams 2 150 MW PV plant partnership described as covering the energy load for each new campus once operational, LEED Gold pursuit, and hundreds of millions of dollars of investment creating more than 100 permanent jobs when fully operational plus more than 1,000 construction jobs in initial phases (City of Goodyear, Jul 30 2019)
